Prison of love
Curiously I was confuse about this name thing
Neither I nor my friend has explanation on why I continue to mention an old flames bearing
I have no means of putting an end to his memory but am sure some might feel that until now I think of him
I am not denying anything with regards to his remembrance
He has been a good man, a gift and a wonder
But sometimes I can’t assist myself to think whether this feelings of mine for him is helping me in some way
I am building life on my own
I am looking for some space
I need to recognize the things that will make me advance
It’s not an easy option
It’s not an escape
But instead it’s more of finding me
There are many questions I would like to define
Answers that I regret to listen to
The moment I learned that I am beginning to recall the past, blood flow like rushing water
I can’t allow another make believe
Another fantasy
He left, he left me alone
Though he spoke of warmth that he will keep on protecting me still I disbelief that physically he is here
There is no way I can ignore his presence
Just the sound of his name puts me to test
Better not to expect for my heart suddenly stopped to believe that all is well if am willing to wait.
To justify his memory makes me weak,
Why should I try if I can’t?
But somehow I am willing to pretend?
I am stronger now, but unlike before
There is no path to choice but only a way to cross
But then again there is no alternative but to love you once more!
